Welcome to the Bear Mountain Nordic Ski Association!
The Bear Mountain Nordic Ski Association (BMNSA) is a family ski club located on Bear Mountain, just south of Dawson Creek. We are open to members throughout the Peace River region.
We have a mission to make winter the most enjoyable season of the year by maintaining over 23 kilometres of groomed ski trails (both classic & skate skiing). We also work to foster the local nordic skiing community by organizing ski lessons and clinics, youth ski programs, family events, tour days, picnics, races and much more.
The Bear Mountain Nordic Ski Association provides our trails and facilities for hiking, cross-country running, wildlife watching, mountain biking, and horseback riding in the summer.
Our association is based on volunteerism and has long benefited from the hard work of community-minded individuals, companies and agencies. It can only continue with the help of your membership and participation.
Each member of the BMNSA is encouraged to put in 10 hours volunteering on club projects and activities. We do development work both in the winter and summer seasons. Please join us in helping to keep the club going!
Ski trail / Grooming Updates
For updates on trail conditions, check out our BMNSA Facebook page, where you can read updates left by other members & leave your own updates based on your most recent ski. You can leave a comment on which trails are groomed, how fast the conditions are, what wax you are using, if there is any wildlife in the area, etc.
Help us improve our club by participating 🙂 Now, GO SKI!
