    Youth Cross-Country Ski Program

(Go HERE to register for the youth program for January 5, 2019.)
The youth cross country ski program and club lending of ski equipment began January 6, at 1pm at the Cat Shack near the large open ski staduim on the xcountry ski trails at Bear Mountain. Park in the parking lot off the main road, and then continue in passing the first lodge, turning left past the large outdoor stadium, until you reach the Cat Shack where the ski equipment will be handed out.
We had a head coach and several volunteer assistant coaches ready to begin that ski year! Depending on the number and ages of participants, we aim to organize the kids in groups of ages 3-5, 6-8, and 9 and up. Children ages 3 and 4 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the lesson (which will be 1hr for 3-4yr olds), whether on skis or not.
Child/Family registration for the program is online at www.zone4.ca. Child membership for ages 6-18 is $65. Lessons/rental is $50 for the season.
The program was a great success. Let's hope for lots of snow before then!
